His research focuses on the intersection between physical matter and code, exploring new forms of integration between real-world art and the virtual environment (computational 3D modelling, immersive virtual reality, 3D printing and artificial intelligence). In 2008, together with Stefania Albertini, he founded the Brera Academy Virtual Lab, the Accademia di Brera's virtual sculpture and architecture laboratory. He is the author of major internationally referenced volumes published by Apress, including Introduction to Blender 3.0 (2022) and Art Between Matter and Code: Bridging Classical Art and Digital Frontiers (2026).
